2025年1月初，Polygon爆料称乐高粉丝们在组装乐高Game Boy卡带时常出错。对从未真正玩过Game Boy的人来说这并不奇怪，但从网上大量帖子可以看出，很多老玩家都在犯同一个错误。错误很简单，出在顶部的那块。如果把它放在卡带的正中间，表面看起来很完整。但这显然是错误的，因为任何玩过Game Boy的人都知道，卡带顶部右侧有一个小缺口。背面的包装图把卡带装错了位置，于是大家跟着错了。
